- The Project Steering Committee has been established and chaired by the Governor. (August 2009)
- Cambodia's authority has decided to nominate Phnom Penh City to join the project. (August 2009)
- Phnom Penh City's Profile was submitted to the project. (September 2009)
- Road Map mission to plan the activities toward a Clean Air Plan was completed in November 2009.
- Road Map report for Phnom Penh has been completed and endorsed in the stakeholders consultation meeting, chaired by the Vice Governor, in August 2010.
