Regional AQM Training
Regional AQM Training: One of the project activities is to develop a standardised modular air quality management (AQM) training programme using an approach, which has been applied by several UN agencies in different fields. The project described the regional training development concept in May 2009. Based upon it, the project organised a course developer workshop in early December 2009. The workshop aimed at preparing professionals to apply the methodology in developing new courses or to adapt exiting courses to the standardised methodology and approach to training. In a follow-up to the Course Developer Workshop, the project organised a Training Needs Assessment Workshop in February 2010 with AQM professionals and city representatives. The project identified 5 priority courses to be developed for three different target populations: decision makers, technical officers and influencers. Download the papers here.
