Activities so far:
- Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) is the implementation partner at the national level.
- Eight cities (Bac Ninh, Hue, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Nha Trang, Ha Long, Vung Tau, Da Nang) submitted their profiles to the Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) in September 2009
- The City Selection Committee from the Vietnamese Government evaluated the cities’ profiles. Four out of eight cities were shorted-listed based on selection criteria as candidate cities for participation in the project.
- City of Bac Ninh and City of Can Tho were selected base on mutual agreement between VEA and GIZ in January 2010.
